Studying abroad in Rome can be scary on its own. Getting sick while studying abroad is probably even worse. Dr. Andrea Guerriero was so nice and friendly and helpful, he really made the experience a lot more bearable. He was always available for questions and answered my frantic call at 6:00AM! He is constantly checking his whatsapp in order to make sure everything is okay and he comes right to your place to check on you. Honestly one of the best doctors I've ever had! I would highly recommend contacting him if you need any medical attention.

Professional, affordable, and all-around great. The second day I was in Rome, I broke out I had a terrible allergic reaction resulting in urticaria and a general weakness. The nurse was close to calling the ambulance but gave Dr. Guerriero a chance instead. His examination was fast and after a shot, medical prescription and knowledge of what I had and how to stop/prevent it, I left. That morning it was a struggle to walk 10 minutes. That evening, I was able to go to a Luau with dancing and walk the 30 minutes home after exploring Rome thanks to Dr. Guerriero. I highly recommend.
My family and I (me, my wife and three young kids) lived in Rome for 2016-2017 academic year - Dr. Andrea was great! He took care of everything we needed throughout the whole year from simple sicknesses, coordinating lab tests, to prescriptions and referrals. Always going way over and above what we expected, we highly recommend Dr. Andrea.
Dr. Andrea did a great job of helping me after having an allergic reaction abroad, he spoke English well, helped me find a pharmacy late on a Sunday, and quickly responded to any questions I sent him via text message.

MedInAction is INCREDIBLE. I highly, highly recommend both the service and their network of doctors. Often when traveling, it can be extremely difficult and daunting to find an English-speaking doctor in a foreign healthcare system. With MedInAction, all I had to do was touch a button on my phone to live chat with a doctor, schedule a house visit, and have someone book an appointment with a specialist on my behalf. I used this service twice while on extended stay in Rome, and both times I was extremely impressed. The doctors are professional, responsive, reassuring, and go above and beyond their call in duty to follow up. Even at home I don't get medical support this quickly! Dr. Andrea and his staff are literally the best doctors. They provide excellent medical care, actually spending one on one time with you to discuss all of your concerns with what's going on with you and your body. Dr. Andrea is also very accessible. You can call, text or email him and he responds almost immediately, which for someone who isn't from Italy it is very reassuring to have that type of care. Honestly, he's much better than my general practitioner back home in the states. I wish more doctors had the ability to provide the care that the doctors at MedinAction have for me. Being on my honeymoon, the last thing I wanted to deal with was being sick, but they made me feel better! Thanks so much!!!

I was so glad to have found the services of Dr. Andrea G while visiting Rome. I was not feeling well but dreaded having to go to the hospital in a foreign country. The service is amazing. Within a couple of minutes I was chatting with the Doctor himself describing my symptoms. Shortly after, Dr. G came to see me to the place I was staying at. Dr. G was very attentive and answered all my questions. He prescribed medication for my condition and the next day I was feeling much better. The service you get with med in action is 10/10. I was very unwell in Rome, with bronchitis, and an ear infection. Dr Andrea Guerriero came to see me at my hotel. I was due to fly out the next night, Unfortunately I couldn’t fly but was prescribed all the medication I would need to get me on the soonest flight out. He provided me with everything I needed for travel insurance and did a follow up appointment. I’d recommend med in action to anyone feeling unwell in Rome.
